Get Set!

Welcome to Mater Dei Childcare Center

We are so excited that you have chosen our Center for your child.  Here is what you need to bring so that we can provide the best possible care…

Infants

  • Diapers/ wipes/ diaper cream. Please bring enough to leave here (typically a sleeve of diapers.) We will let you know through HiMama when you are running low. (Typically on a Friday)
  • Several changes of  COMFORTABLE, CONVENIENT clothing.  (Lightweight cotton long/short sleeve onesies, cotton pants/shorts, or sweatpants are perfect! Keep in mind, we have emergent crawlers and walkers.  Pants that are too baggy or form fitting, lead to frustration.
  • 2 crib sheets (PACK AND PLAY SIZE, FITTED), 3 drool bibs and 1 vinyl, scrubbable feeding bib. These items will be sent home to be washed when soiled or weekly.
  • Bottles each day, already prepared and labeled (we will store them in the refrigerator for you).
  • Extra binkies (if your child uses them)
  • Baby food or finger food (brreakfast and lunch), Puffs, baby cereal
  • Spring/Summer...light-weight jacket, sun hat, and sunscreen
  • Fall/Winter...stroller blanket, hat, gloves and winter coat.

Young Toddlers

  • Diapers/ wipes/ diaper cream. Please bring enough to leave here, we will let you know through HiMama when you are running low.
  • Several changes of clothing
  • Flat sheet and a blanket (or sleeping bag), anything else your child is comfortable sleeping with and bibs. These items will be sent home to be washed when soiled or weekly. Nap mats will available for purchase through us for $25.
  • Meals each day (breakfast if here before 9, small morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack) and beverages. We have microwaves in each classroom to warm-up meals.

Older Toddlers

  • Diapers/ wipes/ diaper cream. If you are using pull-ups, please purchase the style that Velcro at the sides. If your child is potty training, please provide flushable wipes. Please bring enough to leave here, we will let you know through HiMama when you are running low.
  • Several changes of clothing and underwear if your child is potty trained.
  • Flat sheet and a blanket (or sleeping bag), anything else your child is comfortable sleeping with and bibs. These items will be sent home to be washed when soiled or weekly. Nap mats will be available for purchase through us for $25.
  • Meals each day (breakfast if here before 9 am, small morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack) and beverages. We have microwaves in each classroom to warm-up meals.

Please CLEARLY label EVERYTHING with your child's name!
